Malaysia a Christian Nation?

What do I think? What do you think I think? I am a Muslim. So again, what do you think I think? A yes? No?

Fiqh Medic

What are the legal maxims of Islamic Law (QAWA’ID FIQHIYYAH). Let's say, if a patient is having a colostomy bag (which contains his urine or feces), would the ablution be valid? How about, if a women is in labour (bear in mind that giving birth to the first child can be as long as 19hours); can she still performs Salah? (Let's find the answer here.)

Men VS Women

Let's think critically. Who is the one which better in governing this world!? Men, who have more influencing and have strong character or women, who have emotional values, and boundless cares and love?

Are You Ready to Fall in Love??

What is love to begin with? we might assume that we have that sort of wonderful love, unshakeable by no others even death. We may sacrifice anything to our beloved person. But, if we claimed that we love Rasulullah, where are the proofs? You are willing to sacrifice anything for his sake?

Does God need us?

Now, tell me, what are the differences between this human-made lego tree and the one who created by our almighty creator, our god?

A Call Towards Allah

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

My brothers and sisters,

It has been a while since the last General Election 13 took place…

But, you can still feel the heat of it…transition of leadership, discontentment among a few political leaders so on and so forth…

Have you ever thought on why we love to chase responsibilities in a form of position and ranks…but we tend forget our own REAL responsibilities in life - conveying the messages of Allah and living up the Sunnah of Rasulullah P.B.U.H.

I would like to share a verse from the Holy Quran regarding this matter.

And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah . He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.

Surah al-Hajj (22:78)

Have you ever felt that Allah is directly speaking to you… specially for you...like the one in this verse.

Treat al-Quran as if a LOVE LETTER from a lover towards the one He loves (which is YOU)... Then you will feel close with Allah as close as a loving couple (even closer) : )

From this verse, Allah has mentioned that he had picked YOU up…to convey His Message…and Muhammad P.B.U.H will be the witness over you.

My brothers and sisters,

I am not here to burden your life with heavy responsibilities…but remember you are the CHOSEN ONE…

I believe each one of you who read this article is eligible enough to spread the words of Islam… you don’t have to be specifically wearing a white robe with turban and a long beard which most of people might think of (those are Sunnah btw)

But, be as simple as you are, and remember spreading the words of Islam is also SIMPLE

I know that we might not be able to be as good as the companions of Rasulullah P.B.U.H…but it is always a good start and motivation for us to follow their footsteps

Below are a few principles that I would like to share regarding this matter:

1. Start with a simple but continuous steps

“The best love deeds to Allah are the ones that are continuous even if they are not very many”
Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H (Sahih Bukhari)

Allah does not emphasize on the size or quantity of your deeds, but more importantly, He loves the ones that are done continuously.

You can start by sharing Islamic articles, blogs, videos through social networking e.g FB, Twitter etc. with the intention to spread the words of Islam, but remember do it CONTINUOUSLY.

2. Action speaks louder than words

Have you ever thought about how Islam was easily spread during the Golden Ages of Islamic Empire? The answer is simply because of the quality and excellence shown by the Muslim scholars which attracts the non-Muslims towards Islam.

People tend to make their judgement based on what they SEE rather than what they HEAR…

O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?

Surah as-Saff (61 :2)

Before we call other people towards Allah with our own tongue, we must first display good actions and beautiful manners of Islam.

Having said this, it may not necessarily means that we have to completely change ourselves 180 degrees before we could start calling people…if that’s the case then it would be too late before we could start as changing is a gradual, slow process…think about it J

3. Prioritize rewards before threatening with warnings

If we could appreciate the beauty of arrangement in Quranic verses in which Allah, most of the time, bring the glad tidings of a reward first before mentioning the threat of a punishment
Applying the same methodology, we could entice the people with rewards awaiting them if they obliged to the commandments in Islam – a happy beautiful life in this world and the Hereafter

When the Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H. sent Abu Moosa al-Ashari and Muadz bin Jabal to Yemen, he advised them by saying, “make matters easy for people and do not make them difficult, give glad tidings to the people, and do not cause the people to flee away”

(Abu Dawood)

However, this does not mean that we don’t have to warn people with punishments, but rather begin with many glad tidings mentioned in Holy Quran and Sunnah as an encouragement to them…and resort to punishments afterwards.

My brothers and sisters,

There are plenty more ways we could attract people closer towards Allah..as long as our intentions and methods are based on al-Quran and Sunnah.

Remember, we only live once and this is the only stage for us to save ourselves from the punishments of Hellfire in the Hereafter.

Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.

Surah an-Nahl (16:97)

This is the reward from Allah to His believers who do righteousness and Allah will not fail His promise. :)

May you who read this article benefit from it and pray to Allah for his guidance to you and me, striving for His Jannah… Amin.

Wallahualam.
