Malaysia a Christian Nation?

What do I think? What do you think I think? I am a Muslim. So again, what do you think I think? A yes? No?

Fiqh Medic

What are the legal maxims of Islamic Law (QAWA’ID FIQHIYYAH). Let's say, if a patient is having a colostomy bag (which contains his urine or feces), would the ablution be valid? How about, if a women is in labour (bear in mind that giving birth to the first child can be as long as 19hours); can she still performs Salah? (Let's find the answer here.)

Men VS Women

Let's think critically. Who is the one which better in governing this world!? Men, who have more influencing and have strong character or women, who have emotional values, and boundless cares and love?

Are You Ready to Fall in Love??

What is love to begin with? we might assume that we have that sort of wonderful love, unshakeable by no others even death. We may sacrifice anything to our beloved person. But, if we claimed that we love Rasulullah, where are the proofs? You are willing to sacrifice anything for his sake?

Does God need us?

Now, tell me, what are the differences between this human-made lego tree and the one who created by our almighty creator, our god?

Hey World, have you seen me?!

Hey world, have you seen me?!
“Me, a joyful young girl.
Up and downs in life I faced it regularly,
But never did I think about it seriously.
When people ask me what makes me constantly happy,
I said: thinking about HIM, the god almighty.”

Hey world, I’m the luckiest girl ever lived.
“Bleeding, crying, scaring,
Bombing, shooting and shelling,
Filling the air constantly without failing.
Mushrikin are who we are combating,
White flag never thought of raising.”

Hey Mushrikin, I’m the luckiest girl ever lived.
“Mom and dad not here that’s fine,
Cause there’s always someone next in line.
The sun will not always hide, it will shine,
Trust me my friend, ‘cos god is divine.”

Hey friend, I’m the luckiest girl ever lived.
“Im here not to share my story,
If you think I am, I’m sorry.
It’s not me; it’s you I’m worry,
Time’s running out, I need to hurry.”

“Here’s for you, hope it’s worthwhile;
Thinking about your problems will not make you smile,
So why waste your time, give it a trial.
Life is as long as the Nile,
Give it some meander and some of your style.”

“Trust me;
You don’t need to share your pain or fear,
If you feel He is always near.
Talk about it if u may,
Cos love ONE will always stay.”

Still not gonna say it?!
Yes! You are the luckiest creature ever lived.

No Title

Assalamualaikum,
Why this article don’t have a title, you may asked?
 Because, it depends on you.
On how you would give a title to this article.

Dear my brothers and sister,
Most of us are in the 20’s. Yes.
This is when, all the fun and excitement supposed to be at its peak.
Well, supposedly….. (Tears drip slowly while thinking all the lectures and exams that are coming our way)
But nevertheless, we are still enjoying our sweet hyperglycemic 20’s.
So I want to take your mind a little while to your past.

Have you still remembered all those memories in your childhood?
Those times when TV’s played a big role in your life? From there we got Digimon, Pokemon, Oggy and the Cockroaches, Barbie etc. (yes, Digimon and Pokemon are meant for the kids. Read between the lines. Hoho)  or when you were in a car, thinking that the moon was following you? Or you purposely try to close the freezer door slowly cause you what to see the freezer light to turn off? Or when drew your ‘masterpiece’ all over the wall, thinking the wall need some additional touch up? Voila!

Yeah. And if you don’t have any of these memories, ummm.. I know someone in hospital that can help you. Or, it could be, that I am the only one with these memories. Which makes me…… an alien? (Need to find a cliff to jump. Thank you.)

Or, during your teenager’s time?
The time you start to feel ‘something-something’ towards opposite gender?
Or, the experience you gain for your O-level exams, A-level exam, SPM exam?

It seems like yesterday right?
Most of our friend in those times, has gone to another place.
Some has change. Some, are still the same.
Indeed, that is why Allah purposely put the speech of those who has already in Akhirah, it’s like a preview of what’s going to happen, in Surah An-Naziat [79:46].

" It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof."

They, whom are already in Akhirah, will say, they have been on this earth, just like from the moment you wake up in the morning, until afternoon.

That quick. Even quicker, they will say it’s like they’re living only in the morning.
Even you can relate it right?

How all those memories that we have, feels like it just a moment ago.
20 years, it’s like nothing.

All the sweat that we have put on, just like, a quick flash back.
Agree?

So, that’s why Allah swear by Time.
(Please take note, when Allah swore on something, that means Allah is serious.)

" By time,
Indeed, mankind is in loss,"
[As-‘Asr 103:1-2]

Wallahi.
By time, you and me, are in loss.
Allah relates, the existence of time with loss.
It’s like when you have time, you would most probably be in loss. Indeed.

EXCEPT

For 4 things
  • Except for those who have believed
  • done righteous deeds
  • advised each other to truth
  • advised each other to patience.

Why is that so?

Because Allah, wants us to prepare for the Akhirah.
You can have a valley of gold, but Death sure will get you.
And you will face the Akhirah.
You know, you can have all the money in the world. Yes, you do!
But never let it, affect your preparation for Akhirah.

Take Abdur Rahman bin Auf, Uthman bin Affan, Abu Bakr as examples. These Sahabah, were among the rich sahabah, and yet, they were among the 10 promised companion to enter Jannah.

If you close to Allah, He will give you anything in this world.

" Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth."
[Al-Anbiya’ 21:105]

The righteous, will inherit the earth.
It is our Fitrah (nature) to want something from this world. Take it!
But never ever forget, the reasons why we are here.

" Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?"
Al-Mu’minun [23:115]

So I would end this post by sharing a verse from Surah Furqan [25:27]

"And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way."

On the Day of Judgement, all the people who are in loss, will be so anxious, will be so nervous, they would even do things that they are not in control with. Irrational body language.
For example, your loved ones had to undergo a surgery. And you were waiting outside the operation room, you were anxious. You start to walk around, clenched your finger. Sweating.Irrational body language.
That’s why, on that Day, you will be so anxious, so afraid of what’s going to happen to you, you will do things you can’t control of.

Because you are too worry. Terrified of what’s going to happen.
You will bite you hand.
Not only one hand, but both of your hand!
And the pain from biting your hand, you wouldn’t even notice it. You are just too terrified.
And you start to wish. “O I wish I could have do that, I wish I could have done this etc”
On that Day, you wish you had taken the Messenger’s WAY.

It means?
It’s not focusing on the non-believer only.
It also focuses on the believer. They believe in Prophet Muhammad PBUH, but they didn’t follow him.
To not just believing in Islam, and accepting Islam,
But to follow our prophet Muhammad PBUH footsteps.
His teachings. His Sunnah.

……..

There’s still time, insyaAllah.
Prepare yourself.
If you do,
You will see the world, from a different and beautiful perspective Insya- Allah.

I pray to Allah, to whoever who was reading this, get something beneficial, get the strength to hold on to this Deen. I know, its challenging. We are up against the main stream. But trust me, what Allah has prepared for you, is far greater than anything on this earth.

May Allah guide you and me, to His straight path. Amiin.

*may whatever I wrote, I can also practice. I’m far weak than you are. May Allah give us istiqomah (steadfast) in this path.  Amiin.
*that’s why there’s no title. You are the one who are being able to name this post. How this post relate to you.

The Legend of Ghul' Part 2: Ascension

My fellow brothers & sisters in Islam,

What do u think of the story? This is but a fictional story, but does it reminds u of another...? J

Sounds familiar is it? The storyline, the characters and the setting. All seems too true to be fictional.

Well…Indeed it is!! Wanna know how?? Now, take a Quran (translation/Android/Apple/whatever you have) and open this interesting surah.

1.     By heaven in which are zodiacal signs.
2.     And by the promised day.
3.     And by the day which is a witness, and by the day, they are presented.
4.     Cursed be the fellows of the ditch..

[Al-Buruj, 1-4]

Surah Al-Buruj. Try to read the whole surah’s translation. Short time only mehh. Have u not feel the feeling?...the feeling of resemblance of the whole fictional story to this one? Well ehemm2...

Miraga -> (derived from the English word) Mirage; the kingdom is only an illusion,  luring the unwary hearts of mankind to astray
Ashdud -> Ashabul Ushdud (Fellows of the Ditch)
Ghul’ -> Ghulam (the Kid)
Nuray -> An-Nuraniyyin (the blocker of light)
Jablu -> jabal (the mountain)

But wait!! There’s more~

As ‘abid and as a caliph.

The story above is just fictional, a derivation and incomplete look-alike that serves only to draw ur attention here. Nevertheless, the REAL story is here, right in the Quran. What’s more, this is mentioned in a long hadith of our beloved Prophet SAW about this boy!

Masha-Allah~

Both Surah Al-Buruj and the hadith tell us the legend of a young boy, against the cruelty and syirk of his King of Najran in Yaman centuries ago. He used his intelligence to turn things to his favor, forever spreading the true message of da’wah to the people. Hey, that’s what we ought to do even nowadays right?..
So what is the ibrah (moral values) which we can obtain from the story?

Let’s play a guess game. Is the legend really has ended? It’s up to us to decide. The ghulam in the hadith is actually the RESEMBLANCE of ourselves, who are going here and there from our homes to IMU or wherever u study, everyday- to learn knowledge, most of them worldly knowledge. We have our time of fun, have family and once in a while go to usrah or Islamic preaches to ease our hearts.
My comrades, is it enough this way?

“And I have created the Jinn and the men only for this that they may worship Me.”

[Az-Zariyat, 56]

The characters; the King, the Sorcerer and his magic resemble ALL the worldly possessions and also distractions in our life from reliving the mission of our Deen, while the priest is the metaphor of the side and time of our lives which we dedicate for the Deen. This is a sunnatullah. Where there’s always be the ghulam in the strikingly similar situation and all the characters throughout the human centuries. Including us now.

Ask yourself; which is more prevalent? Which is heavier?

The answer lies within self. Laa tansaa! (don’t forget!) Wherever we go, whatever we do, do it for Allah SWT! InsyaAllah all of our works, sweats and tears will never be in vain. Be ikhlas.

Relive the spirit of the Ghulam in YOU! It’s in YOU, both young men and women. Waiting to be unleashed. Use ur creativity as the Ghulam himself when he turned the biggest obstacle into the most effective way to teach and enlighten mankind with da’wah and knowledge on Islam, our True Deen.
Why hesitate? Let’s go! Discover the hidden potential in you. May Allah SWT eases mine and your way! ;-)
…and the legend lives on.

And the legend goes on..... Picture from here.

The Legend of Ghul’- Part 1

: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim:
By His mercy Allah the Almighty I seek guidance & strength…

Once upon a time, in a land far far away…there was a boy in a glorious ancient kingdom, Miraga. This majestic kingdom of men, by the will of Allah SWT had reached an astounding level of civilization, and here, as we all nowadays are obsessed with electronic gadgets (okay, I’m soo into it!) the society, from the humble old man on the street to the innocent cute –looking toddler in the nursery- all are obsessed with MAGIC. Yes, magic...

Taking this obsession as an unfair advantage, the King, Ashdud manipulated the obsession to maintain a strong grip to the kingdom, forever unopposed by anyone, anywhere in the planet for he had a powerful sorcerer whom he called Nuray the Deceiver. Ashdud ordered Nuray to do tricks to the eyes and illusion to the hearts of men so that he alone, forever alone can rule over them and worse still, claim himself as their God!

As the sunnatullah, Nuray the great Deceiver grew older. In a sense of urgency he asked King Ashdud to find him a kid, whose heart is pure- to learn sorcery and eventually once again help Ashdud to dominate the kingdom….and so it began where Ghul’ the innocent boy was selected and endowed the ‘holy’ knowledge of magic, trickey and sorcery. Ghul’, the pure-hearted boy was selected among thousands of competing apprentices for his brilliance. He was a normal boy, living with his parents like any other normal kids of his age. Every day he would go forth and back from his family’s house and the castle to learn magic. Until one day…

“God is Great…God is the Greatest...”

A voice. From the cave he usually passed every time he went to learn from the great Nuray. Who dared proclaiming there’s other God than Ashdud?! Ghul’, with a heart fueled with curiosity, explored the cave, and there he met an old priest, prostrating that ‘God is the Greatest!’. Is he mad?? If the castle guards found out about this he could had his head ripped off! Unwaveringly, the priest approached Ghul’ and taught him of the truth. The truth to be told. That Ashdud is but a mere human, and there’s really is Allah, the true and only one God. As an innocent boy whose life was controlled by Nuray, Ghul’ was indeed in doubt. How can there’s an invisible God? The most powerful, who watches over men’s doings? Ghul’, feeling depressed as well as confused, left the old priest.

One day, Miraga the great kingdom was under siege by a great beast, disturbing the lives of the civilians living at the outskirts of the castle walls. Both footmen and knights alike were incapable of chasing away the Great Beast back to its wilderness in the dark jungle. Ghul’ was on his way to the castle and seeing this event, as a gifted smart boy- used the opportunity to clear his doubt.

“Oh God, if whatever the priest’s preaching me is true and the sorcery I learn is but a stray from the path of Truth, then help me to kill the Great Beast with this humble stone!”

He shouted loudly in front of the citizens and guards. Unhesitatingly, He then threw a stone, which directly hit the monster’s head and it died right away…The truth is unfolded. There’s no God but Allah SWT! Hastily but sure, Ghul’ ran back to the priest, and told him everything. The priest was impressed and asked the boy to conceal his identity, for the sake of da’wah he was doing inside of Miraga.

Soon enough, news began to spread about the new imaan the boy believed. The enraged Ashdud ordered the sentinels to catch Ghul’ and investigated him on his new ‘false’ faith. Ghul’ refused, since he had promised the priest to keep their meetings a secret. However, the cruel Ashdud, using his brutal tools of agony whipped the poor boy…until he confessed of the priest. Immediately, the priest was taken to the throne, and without further questioning he was executed in the name of the great King- as an act of treason to their great ‘god’ Ashdud. The body of the priest was hung in the public, served as a warning to whoever denies Ashdud as their god.

Ghul’ was kept in custody in the cold, dark dungeon. Soon after, the day had come; he was chained and brought upon the so-called almighty Ashdud, who was sitting proudly on his golden throne.

“O young man, have u not afraid and believe in me?! Surely if you convert from your faith to me, I’ll deliver your freedom and your family be spared!”

“There’s only one God, and he is Allah. How can you ignore that you are also a mere mortal, waiting to die on the majestic throne of yours!”

The unwavering faith of the boy shook the King. In utmost anger, he ordered the best among his warriors to bring Ghul’ far away from Miraga, so that people would not see the execution. He was brought upon the peak of Mount Jablu, the grandest mountain in the territory of the great Miraga kingdom and was sentenced to be executed by falling down the peak to the deep abyss. Ghul’, in a sense of hope and protection from Allah the Almighty, prayed so that he was savored and spared from the warriors. Suddenly, the great mountain shook with such intensity that the warriors were devastated and fled. The sounds of armours clanking, people shouting and ground scattering are all around Ghul’….until there was pin-drop silence. The warriors were dead, most of them fell into the abyss, never to be found again.

All praises be to Allah! Ghul’ immediately rushed back to Miraga, straight to the throne, for he had a mission to accomplish. To save all of Miraga. Both Ashdud and Nuray were shocked and awed. How this boy could escape from the watch our mightiest warriors?? Ashdud desperately called upon his loyal guards, pinning Ghul’ to the ground.

“O your Majesty, if you really desire to assassinate me, then you have to follow my wish. For my God won’t allow you to kill me, except by his Will.”

The desperato, Ashdud agreed to listen to the boy’s conditions, as long as he can eliminate the threat to his kingdom. The next day, all the citizens of Miraga are gathered on the kingdom square, all curious of what would have the brilliant boy asked from the King.

The blessed boy Ghul’ was crucified on a tall pole at the end corner of the kingdom square, putting his entire faith on the Almighty Allah. Ashdud and Nuray the Deceiver alongside their walls of knights watched in anxiety. Just as Ghul’’s final death wish, an elite archer of the King’s personal guard was prepared, standing ready in front of Ghul’ distances away. Slowly but firm, he took out a razor sharp arrow, putting it in between his fingers and uttered:

“By the name of this boy’s God!”

That was Ghul’s final wish. That the archer would pray in the true God’s name to shoot him the arrow. The arrow flew swiftly and hit right on Ghul’ head! Slowly, the boy passed away, in His blessings. This event, witnessed by the thousands of the people of Miraga opened their hearts at last. Ashdud is but a weakling! A mere mortal! If he really is God then why he himself cannot kill the boy, and only finally managed to execute him by praying to the ‘other’ God. This sparked rage and sudden realization of the people of the true and only faith they had been waiting for so long.

“We’re in faith with the boy’s God. There’s no one but Him (Allah SWT).”

Ashdud, as a final attempt to cleanse his kingdom of these ‘heretics’, commanded that a big moat of inferno be built. Whoever opposed him and disobey to convert back to him will be thrown in agony. Voices in pain and sufferings filled the kingdom on that day…and so it happened, the massacre of the believers in the path of Allah SWT by the cruel King of Miraga.

-The End-
