Malaysia a Christian Nation?

What do I think? What do you think I think? I am a Muslim. So again, what do you think I think? A yes? No?

Fiqh Medic

What are the legal maxims of Islamic Law (QAWA’ID FIQHIYYAH). Let's say, if a patient is having a colostomy bag (which contains his urine or feces), would the ablution be valid? How about, if a women is in labour (bear in mind that giving birth to the first child can be as long as 19hours); can she still performs Salah? (Let's find the answer here.)

Men VS Women

Let's think critically. Who is the one which better in governing this world!? Men, who have more influencing and have strong character or women, who have emotional values, and boundless cares and love?

Are You Ready to Fall in Love??

What is love to begin with? we might assume that we have that sort of wonderful love, unshakeable by no others even death. We may sacrifice anything to our beloved person. But, if we claimed that we love Rasulullah, where are the proofs? You are willing to sacrifice anything for his sake?

Does God need us?

Now, tell me, what are the differences between this human-made lego tree and the one who created by our almighty creator, our god?

Ramadhan = Aduuuuuuuhhh… Ramadhan plak. Eeeeh. Hang ni kenapa?

(Hr Ibnu Majah - hasan sahih)

Berpeluh.

Seolah hilang arah tuju.

Hanya bertahan... bersabar… dan tido. Ehem.

Menambah dan memperbaiki amal tu seolah alien baginya.

Baca Quran?

3 Kul boleh?

Solat tahajjud?

Oh, ada match bola tak time tu?

Solat Dhuha?

Err..dah Zohor a der…

Berhenti makan daging saudara?

Hello…I puasa k. Bukan macam cik Kiah tu, dia tu kan... Eh.

Cuba habiskan 1 juz sehari?

Jap nak update status jap.

Ehem.

I feel you bro.

Jadi, muhasabah diri.

Biiznillah.

Jom!

Hooray! Its Ramadhan already!

Ramadhan is the ninth month according to islamic calendar.

Surely, all muslim around the world (!) are looking forwards for this month and always prays for another meeting with next ramadhan in their lifetime.

Allahumma barik lana fi Rajab wa Sha’ban wa ballighna Ramadan.
“O Allah! Make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan.”
[Narrated by at-Tabarani and Ahmad]

Allahumma balighna Ramadhan.

Allahumma balighna Ramadhan.

Allahumma balighna Ramadhan.

Alhamdulillah, I believe that the readers also has met with Ramadhan. May Allah ease us in our business of jihad and firming our faith towards Him.

Its utterly true and undeniable that, The month of Ramadhan Al-Kareem inspire us to do many and many good deeds, and gain rewards and mardhotillah, InsyaAllah. The multiplicity of rewards for those who are doing any good deeds truly inspire us.

In the history of Imam Muslim:
"Every son of Adam a charity that is done will be multiplied. The goodness multiplied into ten to seven hundred times. Then Allah Almighty says, "Except for fasting. Indeed it was for my fast and I was the one who gave the reward. People who leave orgasm fasting and eating as I am alone. "
But, it is encouraged that we are not doing and obeying His rule and His order just because expecting His rewards. We must do it with Ihsan, with Ikhlas.

Because, we love Him.

Because, we want His redha.

May Allah, bless us His Jannatul Firdaus for us in the hereafter.

Hmm.. FIFA

Fasting is For Allah.

This thought still being remembered by most of us, since we are in World Cup Season.

What is the effect of fasting to Muslim who participate in the world cup football?

Anyone thought about it before?

I read an article which catch my interests, I collected only some parts of it, you may read it here .

FIFA reportedly studied the effects of fasting before the tournament started, with "positive" results. "If you do it intelligently, then you can adapt perfectly," Dr. Michel D’Hooghe, FIFA's medical committee chairman, told the New York Times. "Before the sun comes up, they have enough hydration to go on through the whole day.”

Professional footballer Kolo Toure, who plays for his native Côte d'Ivoire and Liverpool in the Barclay's Premier League, has said he adjusts for Ramadan yearly when the holy month falls during their season. "It's been tough, but at the same time I feel like I am much stronger, because my mental condition takes over," he told Liverpool FC's official website last summer.

NBA basketball player?

NBA basketball player Hakeem Olajuwon was also known to play while fasting during Ramadan, by drinking a gallon of water and eating seven dates before sunrise. Germany's Ozil, according to the BBC, fasts as much during Ramadan "as his sporting commitments allow."

***

Hmmm.. what else?

Let's do our best for this Ramadhan. May Allah bless us with His rahmah, insyaAllah.

Oh ya, there some files to be downloaded that catch my interest.

Its Ramadhan!

ON a fine regular day, such glaring light with heat of Kuala Lumpur sun always striking up people nerve by drying up their moist of throat. Mineral water should be the best resolve for this larynx and  pharynx. H2O. But, if someone treat me of iced milo, iced teh ‘o’ or any other sugary drink, now that,  it’s better!

I was just finished my CSU practice in that morning, and on that noon, I was at Bukit Sentosa to go for a shopping. Well, my Protex soap, and Daia washing detergent had done for. Need to buy a new stock. Fortunately, Azam was willing to accompany me. He was so nice, and yet handsome (perhaps).

“Azam, today’s so hot. You know. The rays of sun radiating around my body, and I feel like, I’m being grilled now.”

“Waahh! That’s some metaphors there. Nice try, and keep it up.”

“I’m deadly serious, man.”

“…. Okay.”

Then, I suggest to him, “may we buy a bottle of mineral water? We share our money. You pays nifs, and I pays the other nifs.”

“Hah. Nifs?”

He asked again, “ what sort of animal is that nifs?”

“Waa… You don’t know?”

#Brother Zaki’s Diary

***

Nifs?

I guess, you guys should already aware of the Nifs Sya’aban recently (Or not?)

Well, I’m not going to tell these hadiths about Nifs Sya’aban are Dhaif. These are Hasan, these are Shahih.

No. I think everyone of you should know already. But, I will just share one of those Shahih Hadiths.

From Usamah bin Zaid reported, that he said,
“I have asked, ‘ Oh Rasulullah, why I have never seen you fasting in other month, as much as you are fasting in the month of Syaaban?’”
Rasulullah s.a.w. replied, “that’s  the month where lot of people forget, between the month of Rejab and Ramadan. It is the month where our deeds were raised to the God of the universe, and I love when my deeds were being raised during I am fasting.”
(This hadith was reported by Ahmad 5/201, Ibnu Abu Syaibah 2/347, An-Nasâ’i 4/201, Ath-Thahawy in Syarah Ma’âny Al-Atsâr 2/82, Al-Baihaqy dalam Syu’bul Imân 3/377 and Abu Nu’aim dalam Al-Hilyah 9/18. And the sanad was declared as ‘Hasan’ by Syaikh Al-Albany dalam Irwâ’ul Ghalîl 4/103 and Tamâmul Minnah hal. 412 )

Afterall, the main issue here is, have we really prepare enough for the coming Ramadhan?

Its Nifs Syaaban already, and its proving that the Ramadhan is drawing nearer to us.

Too near!

Fasting should be one of the important practice, preparing for the coming Ramadhan.

But, the most important preparation is the ‘tarbiyah ruhiyah’ within yourself.

We might able to control our evil ‘nafs’ of eating, but we might just lose control of the heat of ‘nafs’, with some shaytan sweet whispers. We may just fell into their trap. I believe that its about our spontaneous action (akhlak). That’s what we must educate.

We build the pillars of faith, we develop absolute barrier from any evil whispers. Love Allah. Love Rasullullah. Some may prefer, spending at least 5-10 minutes to recall that Allah was still with us.

Pondering

about the sky without pillars, and the creations without flaws. Allah, was truly, our God. Our Creator.

(picture taken from here )

“Travel through the Earth and see how God did originate creation” (Surah Al-Ankabut 29:20)

Its really a refreshing thought. Renewing your Iman, along with the saying, ‘La Ilaha Illa Allah’.

We shouldn’t also forget, we are one of His creation.

“Now let man but think from what he is created “ (Surah Al-Waqiah 56:5)
Yes. Allah was the one who create us, filthy human (from filthy semen and tiny ovum). He develops us within His Sunnatullah.

“We created you out of dust, then out of a sperm, then We fashioned you into something which clings into a chewed lump of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed” (Surah Al-Hajj 22:5)

Thus, one should never forget, and always remind himself/herself to never let yourself act accordingly to the Shaytan desire. They are our true enemy.

Even though, bad intentions/thought might come out nowhere. Say, ‘Astaghfirullah.’ ‘SubhanAllah, may Allah protect us from any act of evils.”

Take care of your faith.

Keep your ‘Iman’ straight.  La'ilaha Ilallah, Muhammadan Rasulullah. There Is No Diety Worthy Of Worship except Allah And Muhammad(Pbuh) Is His Messenger.

Ameliorate your Akhlak.

And Be a good muslim. And of course, the beneficial one!

May Allah ease our path towards His Jannah. InsyaAllah.

When Death comes around the corner.

Yes! Truly. Death is inevitable.

Whenever it comes approaching us, can we said to him, "Oh! Wait! I don't prepare yet!

Yes, surely,
(the picture taken from: here)

It comes whenever he wants.

He goes whenever he wants.

But, still Allah is the One who decide everything about his creation's death.

When that person is going to die?

When this person is going to die?

When is this WORLD going to DIE?

"And no person can ever die except by Allah's Leave and at an appointed term." (Al-Imran, 3 : 145)

And, All of us, will return to Him.
"Truly,to Allah we belong and truly to Him we shall return" (Al-Baqarah, 2: 156)

As the time comes. It comes. Never delayed even in seconds. Regardless of situation of the individual!

Isn't Allah says that,

Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high! (An-Nisa', 4 : 78. )

Therefore, let's be wise. Let's prepared anything that we need to prepare.

Do 'amal and good deeds whenever we can, and whereever we ate.

Ibn ‘Umar said: I was with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) when a man from among the Ansaar came to him and greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) with salaam, then he said: “O Messenger of Allaah, which of the believers is best?” He said: “The one who is best in attitude.” He said: “Which of the believers is most wise?” He said: “The one who remembers death the most, and is best prepared for what comes after it. Those are the wise.” narrated Ibn Maajah (4259).

Wahai yang membolak balikkan hati,
Teguhkan hati ku di atas agamaMu,
Kerana aku tak pasti,
Sampai bila aku mampu berdiri,
Sana dan sini,
Godaan menanti,
Menarik narik hati ku,
Aku tak mampu.

Wahai yang membolak balikkan hati,
Teguhkan hati ku di atas agamaMu,
Kerana aku lemah,
Terlalu lemah,
Kerana bisikan itu menguji,
Takut-takut nanti ku turuti.

Wahai yang membolak balikkan hati,
Teguhkan hati ku di atas agamaMu,
Hanyut,
Telah ramai yang aku lihat hanyut,
Arus godaan dunia disangka syurga,
Rupanya neraka bersalut hawa,
Nyenyak berselimut dosa.

Wahai yang membolak balikkan hati,
Teguhkan hati ku di atas agamaMu,
Kerana aku masih bertatih,
Perlahan, lahan, menuju redha Mu,
Terima lah aku,
Dengan segala kotor ku.

Wahai yang membolak balikkan hati,
Teguhkan hati ku di atas agamaMu,
Aku sedar,
Hati ku tidak tetap,
Niat ku sering berubah,
Maka sungguh malang kiranya,
Aku langsung tidak menyedarinya.

Wahai yang membolak balikkan hati,
Teguhkan hati ku di atas agamaMu,
Apa yang harus aku lakukan?
Disaat gelap dan cahaya,
Tak dapat ku beza,
Berjalan dengan menyangka inilah dunia,
Semuanya sangkaan ku saja,
Penat!
Aku penat menghitung dosa.
Penat terjatuh semula.
Penat dengan kerenah dunia.
Penat dengan lemahnya jiwa.
Penat dengan diri yang terlena.
Kelam!
Dibuai oleh permainan dunia.
Tak ubah seperti kanak-kanak dalam dunia nya.
Leka!
Dan terus leka.

Ya Rabbi dengarkanlah,
Aku lemah.
Dan aku berdoa,
Ya muqollibal qulub
Tsabbit qolbi a’la diinik.

***

Syahr bin Husyib bertanya kepada Ummu Salamah,

“ Wahai Ummul Mu’minin! Doa apa yang paling banyak diucapkan Rasulullah jika sedang berada disisimu?”
Jawab Ummu Salamah,

Wahaha..

Tak dinafikan, bila tibanya musim peperiksaan, maka banyaklah zombie-zombieakan yang dilahirkan. Seolah menjadi trend.

Solat sunat, apa tu..?
Eh surau, kat mana ek..?
Solat Jemaah? eh belum hari Jumaat lagi la. Raya pun jauh lagi.
Jatuh kerusi terduduk.

Sedikit demi sedikit, syaitan menarik kita jauh dari Allah.
Dan kita tak sedar pun.
Bahkan, kita merelakannya.

Kenapa kita perlu memahami instead of mengetahui? Oh, pardon my rojak’s.
Seorang professor psychologydari University of Pennsylvania,Martin Seligmanmenjelaskanbahawasetiapmanusia mahukan kebahagiaan. Allow me to describe in English ey.. Slurpp.. (sambil menghirup air teh)

“we can experience and progress to three kinds of happiness: 1) pleasure and gratification, 2) embodiment of strengths and virtues and 3) meaning and purpose. “
1.     pleasure and gratification

this kind of happiness is easy get. We watch football, we feel happy. We listen to music, we feel happy. Eat, watching drama, comedy series, hang out with friends at mamak’s etc.
But, it is transient. Only for a brief. A momentarily joy.
And thus, people will continue, on and on, searching for this momentarily joy. It’s a vicious cycle. After the joy is over,we will look for it again. And again. We would even go over the boundaries just because, the previous excitement is not so exciting anymore. We would might not becoming a human at all.

2.     embodiment of strengths and virtues

The second level of happiness is through accomplishment. We set our aim, and we strive for it. Upon accomplishment, we feel happy. We feel accomplished. Fulfil. And it will last longer than the previous one. It’s like when you have already finished cooking, or making cards, or even winning a 2 hour game. Feel  me?

3.     meaning and purpose.

But above all of these types of happiness, this is the highest. It lasted longer. Doesn’t even need any extra effort. Doesn’t need multi billion project to fulfil you. Even by a simple act you are already happy. Even by lifting rubbish from the road, is enough.
Meaning and purpose.
Jadi, bahagia kah kita sekarang?
Dan kita mahu mengejar kebahagiaan yang mana? Dan kepada apa?

Tujuan Kehidupan.

Kepada Allah.
51:56 – beribadat kepada Allah
2:30 – khalifah

Kita Abdullah, sebelum exam, selepas exam, ketika tiada langsung exam.
So what is your excuse for taking your Ibadah lightly just for the sake of exam..?

Mula awal

Baca ayat-ayat cinta Allah. Banyakkan berada dalam suasana yang baik.
Ya, ia boleh jadi lambat. Tetapi itu lebih baik dari tak buat.
Kerana cinta itu kata kerja. Bukan kata nama.
Bekerjalah dalam mencintai Allah.
You will find your happily-ever-after life, here in Dunia.
Senyum.
Again, pardon my rojak’s..

Salam.
